My heart goes out to young girls and ladies who feel they need to have an abortion for whatever reason. Abortions are final, and sad. Women get abortions for many reasons. Sometimes they have been raped, and who wants to have a child by someone who has commited such a horrible act of violence to them. When they look at that child they will be looking at their product of rape which I'm sure is something that they would rather try to forget. Having that child (eventhough it isn't the child fault) will remind them of the rape everyday. It isn't fair to the child either. All children want to know who their father is. Legally the father has a right to see his child no matter what. Even if he does jail time he will eventually get out. It is also very possible for him to molest or rape his own child.
Rape is only one reason why women have abortions. There is also cases of Incest.
Abortion also goes against most religions. Most women who have abortions have religious beliefs. They feel tremendous guilt after having an abortion but feel their circumstances were too great not to have an abortion. They sometimes fall into deep depression, and never truly get over having an abortion. Sometimes the abortion ruins their bodies from being able to have children later. These are high risk that women take, when they feel they have no way out.
I personally don't judge other women for their abortions, and I don't think anyone else should either!
It's easy to judge when you have not walked in their shoes!

Everyone can have an opinion, that is a god given right. As a person who has had an abortion, many years ago, I know I was all for it and believed I was doing the right thing. After it was over, I was haunted by my actions and have been for 30 years. It is a personal decision and unfortunately, it doesn't only affect the woman having one, but the life that is taken and sometimes the father and family around you. Weigh your options carefully and search your heart. I would never tell anyone not to, only what my experience was.

We have the technology to see that it is a baby.
Women who abort know they are killing a baby.
Women who've had abortions die a little each day afterwards because they always think about that 'almost child'.
Pregnancy that is from rape or incest only contitutes 2% of the entire WORLD pregnancies, and that is only if that was a true rape.99% of abortion rhetoric is based on this 2%. The other is about choice to terminate another human being's life.

I'm pro abortion only if used in the right way. If a person is raped, molested or incest was committed I'm for abortion. If someone uses abortion as a form of birth control then I'm against it. There are too many different forms of birth control out there.

I personally feel that if you want to terminate your pregnancy, you should have the right to. It is your body, your pregnancy. I think the morning after pill should be available and pharmacists should be forced to fill it. I think late term abortions would happen less frequently if anti-choice legislation would back off so women could access the procedure sooner.
You asked.
By the way, all the photos, stories, and arguments anti-choice blow hards can throw will never change my mind that it's a woman's CHOICE.

completely against it. i'm a nurse and have seen a lot of footage on babies that have been aborted and the level of development that some have reached is unbelievable. Its a selfish thing to do. to kill a growing child to save embarrassment, career, money, or wotever, if you were sure that your situation wasnt compatible with a baby, then adopt him/her. lets not play God. If you'r emature enough to get pregnant, you should be mature enough to deliver the baby.

Even more important than people's opinions are the facts about abortion. If the facts prove that abortion kills an innocent human being, than abortion is always wrong. Check out these sites:

Good Grief! Who really asks these kinds of questions in 2006? I think it is a medical procedure that is as safe as it can be when not threatened by people trying to legislate morality and then applying that to medicine.
