Definitely not! I didn't learn how to swim until I was 15 either because my parents wouldn't let me take lessons before that (it was too expensive). I signed up for an adult class at the local pool because I didn't want to be in a class with a bunch of 6-7 year olds. It's pretty nice taking an adult class - I know it made me feel better about not knowing how to swim at 15 when there were people in the class in their 30s and 40s who couldn't swim either.

You're not too old I'm 15 too and my dad only recently learned how to swim and he was completely okay with that. Besides once you get to the class you'll be surprised how many other people are the same age some might even be older but not too much older usually classes like that have and age range so that you won't feel uncomfortable.

Your never to old to learn how to swim....in fact it would be in your best interest to learn for many reasons!
1.) You get invited to a pool party, everyone else is having a great time in the pool but you.
2.) You may be able to save someone's life because they can't swim
3.) You may be able to save your own life because you can swim.
4.) Swimming is one of ..... in fact probably the best way to exercise and loose weight if you needed too.

Swimming is a lot of fun...and can be very relaxing....
Don't forget your goggles! Have fun!

No everyone should learn to swim at any age. Try the YMCA or anyplace else that gives swimming lessons. Or have a cute lifeguard teach you.

you are never too old. think of all of the senior citizens who do water aerobics. Plus, it's a good skill to have and it's alot of fun. You should probably try to just get private lessons so you aren't self conscience about your age and will be able to enjoy how much fun swiming is

Most certainally not! It's very easy to learn too. To begin with...you float naturally so that is the best part. Get the motion going with your hands and feet and you'll be growing gills in no time!

Have fun! You'll wonder why you waited so long once you start!
