I'm not sure anything is worse than that. All of the loan ads are annoying and patronising. As if everyone who doesn't have any money is stupid. Well I suppose you would have to be stupid to get a loan with some of them, the interest they charge. Well apart from those ads, there are the insurance ads. That Sheila's Wheels one does my head in. It was fun at first and the tune was quite catchy but when it's on every five minutes, it just makes me want to slap the tv.

To be honest all adverts drive me crazy. I have sky plus now and I record everything I want to watch so I can fast forward through the adverts they drive me crazy. I have to say thought the picture loans advert is especially irritating and the Kellogg's advert too especially that blonde haired teen I would love to smack him in the mouth he annoys me so much!

I realize this is a local thing that a lot of people won't "get", but there is a car salesman here in Georgia by the name of Cotton Flynn. His advertisements are sooo annoying that they make me cringe. There is the "Cotton as a child" ad series, in which a young-kid just as round-faced and irritating as Cotton is depicted either making a model car ("We shoulda used less glue!!") or selling lemonade ("Getchyer ice cold lemonade for less!")... There is also the adult Cotton having trouble speaking English due to his thick southern drawl, inviting customers to go car shopping in his air-conditioned show room ("Do you like shopping for cars in the rain? Ahhh know ah don't!"). The camera always manages to capture Cotton in still-life as he's making some strange, open-mouthed excuse for a smile, making him look like a shocked, bloated fish. Terrible.
It's a miserable series of commercials and I will never, ever purchase a vehicle from ANY Cotton Flynn franchise after being subjected to these horrible ads for the past four years of my life.

the only the position they have abused youthful ones being shown even as the large agency (won't be able to undergo in ideas which one it really is off hand) touts for extra money £2.00 monthly may help little Tommy...William.. etc They consistently teach this ad even as human beings are about to sit down and revel in thier evening meal and talk thier day.. I dread meal circumstances now... besides the undeniable fact that the reply is elementary - no television on a channel that shows advertisements ! I question using youthful ones in this way contained in the media. I question the position that money truly is going to.... given a well-known bbc documentary programme confirmed that for ever £a million.00 donated to those extreme profile charities, 90p of that £a million.00 donation went on OVERHEADS. the last 10p truly went to what it were donated for !!!! project looked after at swap of button ! user-friendly as.

Um you sound like a UK person so you probably have different commercials than us. Last time I was there (Feb) your commercials were almost as bad as ours in the US. I agree that that Taylor Hicks Ford commercial is completely awful. Right now in California, the Wendy's commercials are bugging me solely because it has this whistling noise in the background the whole time the commercial is on. They ran out of money in their budget so they just had someone whistle the whole time or something. Very obnoxious.

I know it's not on anymore but I would have to say the most irritating advert is definitely the Halifax advert, by far. I think we all know which ones I mean.

The warburton bread add where the dad remarks about a bacon sandwich and his wife treats him like a heathen...poor old sods probably been forced in vegetarianism to keep the peace. If I were him i'd have a stove and frying pan in my shed and just go to the house to sleep. ;-)
