I love pop music! I especially love the upbeat songs with a lot of bass and a strong beat. Music has to make me happy. I never dance to music. I just listen closely, and some of the melodies these writers and groups come up with are just genius. To create a song that gives you a mood, especially a positive one, is quite an achievement. It must take a lot of concentration. I only listen to other genres every now and then. Sometimes I'm in the mood for death metal, but most of the time I'm not. As well, my mom abused me as a kid, and always yelled at me. So when I recall those times and get depressed, I listen to "Cleanin' Out My Closet" by Eminem, because it fits. But most of all, I like cheery pop songs, because they make me happy and the melodies are so addictive and just seem "right."

I like metal, rock, and some classic rock. I get a lot of $#!+ for it but, KoRn got me hooked to the music I listen to now. KoRn was my gateway into the harder stuff. Their music and lyrics just touch my soul. As for the other bands I listen to, they just make me move or release the negativity I have built up inside me.

I like country and alternative. I grew up on country music and I fell in love with alternative. The reason I listen to both is because I love music and songs with meaning. If the song has a message (that isn't something completely stupid, I'll live with funny, but not stupid) then more or likely It'll be blairing in my room.

The Brit Pop is the best music, like Oasis Blur, Radiohead, The Thrills... even Gorillaz and why? cuz they are influenced by greatest musician like The Beatles The Rolling Stones ....so many...

I'm in the middle of hip-hop and rock. I guess you can call me Michael Jackson when it comes to musical tastes because I like what my friends call white music (rock, pop, and country) and black music (hip-hop, rap). I think the way they classify music is wrong though.

I like punk, it's my life, rock there are alot of good bands, country, it has a good feeling when you listen to it and emo i like a little emotional type music.
