What would be a good plant to use as a cover for a garage side that covers well,low maint, cheap & not bulky?

Clematis is a beautiful plant that will grow up to the roof and over. Blooms are non stop and beautiful. All you'd have to do is put up netting or a trellis or something against the garage wall for them to climb on. They have no maintenance I'm aware of other than watering if it doesn't rain often enough.

Where are you? General location.
What is the purpose of covering the side of the garage. Looks, hide the wall etc.
