Find a clinic to go to, you might have to pay a small fee, but not nearly as much as a doctor's office. look online.

The dark brown you are seeing is an indication of old blood still not expelled from the lining of the uterus (most likely from a period that obviously didn't come) It sounds pretty obvious that either you have been under extreme stress, you are on the wrong BC pilll, or your hormones are freaking out on you something feirce. You really need to see a doctor.I know, I know, no insurance, the story of my life. The good news is that you can get an appt. at the health dept. or planned parenthood for a gynelogical exam. This would probably have to be scheduled as an appt. to get on the pill. Even if you don't want the pill, pretend you do, so you won't be turned away. Once yoou go for the exam, they have to help you find the cause of your problem. In the mean time, dont take Ibuprofen, motrin or advil as this chemical is also used to reduce the blood flow of women who have extremely heavy periods. You don't want to stop it up any worse. You need to get it out. Try a couple aspirin a few times a day to see if that helps thin it out so it will flow. Maybe this will help the pain by reducing the pressure or wieght of the blood in the uterus.
Also, go to
www. sexualhealth.com
and surf around in the womens medical section for previous posts that are replied to by physicians. It's a great resource for that and much more.
Good luck to you.

I had a friend who had this same thing happen to her years ago, I can't remember what it was but she did have to stay in the hospital a day or two. You are going to have to see a doctor, it's serious enough that there is no getting around that. Maybe planned parenthood can diagnose you, they're affordable. Have you tried to get state assistance with health care? At any rate you have to been seen by someone. Go to the emergency room if you have to.

I experienced exactly the same problems years ago. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis. It causes longer, or no periods, bad cramps, and can cause sterility. You need to see a doctor. Obvioulsly this may or may not be it. But, you need to get checked out and diagnosed my a medical doctor. Go to your local health department. Most offer a slididng scale fee.

Have you gained or lost weight recently? Have you started exercising more? (Like training for a race sort of thing.) These can influence your period.
Go to a clinic like Planned Parenthood, you can get a low-cost or free exam.
To respond to someone's suggestion: Going to an ER, they can't refuse you, but you'll end up waiting a LONG time (unless you're bleeding to death there.) And if you don't pay, you can get sued. (It's called Theft of Service.)

you need to see a Dr. Go to a Planned Parenthood in your area. Just to be safe!
but if you are under lots of stress, or a change of diet (not eating right) or something major is going on in your life.. these could all be symptoms that could disrupt your cycle
if your still young your periods could be irregular.
and how do you know your not preg? If you had sex at all you still could be.
Good luck.

You can still go the emergency room and they will treat you without insurance and you wont have to pay anything now and really not later if you don't want to. Best wishes

If you are in the 40-55 age range, all I can say is "Welcome to Menopause!" If that's not the case, then get yourself to a clinic of something! For cramps take: evening primrose oil.
