Well, the ranking is not refereed as World Cups, as you can see, USA is 5th and they have never win a World Cup, or anything close to it. The ranking is based in all type of games, they have an special way to count points, and is not always World Cup results.
My top ten for THIS World Cup so far it would be:
1. Argentina
2. Germany
3. Brazil
4. Portugal
5. Spain
6. Italy
7. France
8. Mexico
9. Ecuador
10. Ghana and Czech Republic
As you can see these are the teams that in my opinion have played good, as you can see some are already eliminated, and some are in their positions because of some luck as England and Ukraine.
The ranking that you are referring is still very right, but as I told you is not only based on World Cups. We have the Czech Republic there because they are referring to Yugoslavia.
