I'm going my first time in a week or 2 'cause I had an infection known as BV (Bacterial Vaginosis). He said this time, they're will be a FULL pelvic exam. Today, he supposely took a pelvic exam to test to see what was goin' on. What's the difference from the one in the ER and the one at the actual GYNO office? Will it hurt this time really bad, too?

Maybe in the ER the doctor just swabbed to do a culture and sensitivity test to determine if there was an infection and as to what kind. During a full exam, the doctor will palpate your ovaries, uterus, etc and take a cervical swab (hurts a little bit but just for a second!) If your first exam in the ER hurt it may have been due to the infection. Hopefully it has cleared and your next experience will be as comfortable as it is humanly possible to be in that umm...position...
