The same reason why we created reality TV. God is getting His inexpensive daily dose of drama and amusement while watching beings inferior to him run around and make arses out of themselves.

Well i think...that we all have lessons to learn and that we never really DIE. I think the soul is immortal and lives on forever. The soul cant ever be damaged or destroyed. Our bodies can but not our souls. Our bodies are like cars. When the car is too old the soul simply looks for antother car in order to learn the lessons it did not learn in the previous life. What i mean by lessons is forgiveness, love, value etc. We dont ever stop growing, we continue to grow. Our souls go through many different stages of development. When our souls come back we are burned out so we go through a renewal stage, a learning stage, and a stage of decision. We decide when we want to return, where and for what reasons. Some choose not to come back. THey choose to go on to antoher stage of development. And they stay in spirit form..some longer than others before they return. It is all growth and learning......continous growth. Our body is a vehicle for us while we are here. Our sould and spirit last forever. If we NEED to come back then we come back. If we are fifnished with that then we go on. In spiritual form you can always contact those that are in physical state if you choose to. But only if there is importance there.....if you have to tell them something that they MUST know. If you are still wondering about the question you asked....you should read MANY LIVES MANY MASTERS by BRIAN L. WEISS, M.D.

Our spirit never dies so even though our bodies will eventually stop, our spirit continues. Look at it this way. What is a thought? Truly, it comes from within. No beginning or end because that thought can travel from one to another. Granted it may have some changes to it but it continues.

Justice.
Love.
Liberty.

Though seen as abstract they are still endless and so is our spirit. It is eternal. Just think it this way. You are a member of a family. Your body lives, interacts, gives, loves, nurtures and then your body dies. Think about your spirit. The thought of you will live on. Your child/ren, grandchild/ren, great-grandchild/ren will keep your spirit and thought going on and on.

Because, we are meant to be recycled.

Earth, Life, and every resource we have, is part of a circle (yes, like the CIRCLE OF LIFE in Lion King)

we live, we evolve and propagate our species, and die, and make room for the next generation, and the next evolutionary step.

we become food, giving energy and flesh to whoever and whatever comes after us.

when you eat a steak, you are eating the flesh of an animal that ate the grass that grew from the remains of many things, probably a few humans at one point also, who became soil, as is the fate of all of us.

Its one giant sphere, made of trillions of intersecting "cycles"

The question 'why' implies that there's some pre-ordained plan. Unfortunately, it's lites out when you die, your molecules will return to the random nothingness from whence they came.

Cosmic purposelessness is an objective reality that's hard to accept, which is why religions and the belief in the afterlife and supernatural being(s) serves as an 'opiate' to the masses. It keeps the masses from being depressed, from knowing of our utter death and annihilation.

He has a plan for all of us. We are put on the Earth to make a change no matter if it be positive or negative. Us, we can make inventions that will help in the future so when we die, others will be able to live a happy life.

We are not created by GOD. We are products of nature. And all creature of nature have its own life cycle. In old days there was no science so the easiest way to explain is to have GOD as creator. Please grow up and accept good things of old religions and abandon unscientific concepts. We have new rules to follow in our world. Old rules should be respected but strictly followed or believed. Lets go forward to future and lets make future.

Because the God, that you know of, has a very wicked sense of humor! There are some other things to think of - why is it that premies are allowed to live even when their very birth creates "defects", i.e. a child born premature, allowed to live, in an incubator that causes it to be blind? Whoa! Deep - very deep!

We are in a temporary learning shell where we make a choice rather to live with god or live with the devil. After we die is when we actually live, rather it be for eternity in Heaven or Hell.

he created us to make the world a beautiful place but it's just being destroyed. God has a reason for everything.
