scars will not tan. retin may not be enough. try mederma (that's spelling is probably wrong). it's an otc cream that helps with scars of all kinds and strech marks. It's a bit pricy but it worked on my surgery scars.

I would use mederma or a generic version of it. In my experience, the only thing that took away my acne scars was a dermatological treatment called blue light with levulan. It was the only thing to work for me after trying many things. If your scars are new and not very severe, mederma may help. You might also consider the neutrogena acne scar fading peel. My sister used that, and her scars are now gone! Best of luck to ya :)

Get some tea tree oil. It helps acne and it helps remove scars. It's not gonna work over night but use it regularly for about two or three weeks and you'll notice the biggest difference. Worked for me.

Perhaps try ProActive? Also I have had success by using eye drops. Drop about 1 to 3 eye drops on the acne...."Takes the red out" as they say! Doesn't always work, but it helps when you use a concealer/ cover stick. And avoid pink colors on the lips if you have a bad outbreak...the pink tends to draw the eye to other areas of the face that are also red or irritated.

Try Maderma, you can get this at Walmart, but I think it's kind of expensive. If this doesn't work get laser surgery.
