The Pool Store in Cincinnati, OH has good prices on this type of product. You probably don't live in the Cincinnati area.
The cheapest vacuum is probably a used one. Check the classifieds in your local newspaper.

I bought a new pool vacuum last year and it is by far the best one out there and not that expensive, see the link below, then check out ebay for dealers that sell it cheap.
