Ok guys, seriously, would you be embarrassed if your girlfriend threw you a surprise bday party on your 30th? I want to do something really special for my man and I thought this would be fun. What do you think? I figured I would invite his family mostly and just have it at a restaurant or something. Also whats a good gift?

well give him a surprise at 12.o1am with a huge cake and then go outside for a fun or either to a restaurant and call ur all relatives and ur friends and all others u knw
this day comes once in a year so y not to try some thing new so i think u r going in the ryt way maam
arrange an awsome party after the get toghter
may be go for a dance party or some singjng type of
and the gud gift in my opnion wud be ur DEEP LOVE FOR HIM OR MAY BE A GUD THING THAT HE LOVES
ask this thing one or two day before abt his gift
but dun even whisper abt the surprise party
i think this bday wud be the bst if u do so like this

No, I don't think this is a bad idea. However, when I turned 30, I was really depressed (ya know the getting older bit), so if he's kinda in that mode then maybe a big birthday surprise party may not be the best thing for him (poss. making him feel worse). Feel him out. If his really excited about his birthday, then go for it, but if not, maybe throw something small and intimate. Also, a good gift could be tickets to an upcomming sports or entertainment event or you could treat him to see the Superman movie comming out tomorrow (Guys like to be treated out sometimes).....
