Well, the temperature is hot right now, and all the summer fun has started! Be sure to bring:
*Sunscreen/suntan lotion
*shorts
*short sleeved/sleeveless shirts
*1 or 2 nice outfits to go out to the discos with or have a nice
night on the town with
*bathing suit
*sandels
*walking shoes
*money
*camera (plenty of film if not digital; extra memory & batteries if it
is digital)
*toiletries
*make-up (used at night because during the day it is very hot and
you will sweat it all off)
*travel adaptor (just in case)
*anything that you use to do your hair (make sure to pack at least
one clip to keep your hair up as the air is hot and humid and
your hair will get sticky against your neck)
*sunglasses
*small supply of various medicines in case you get sick
*hat
Make sure you keep a reasonable amount of money on you, and keep some statched away in your hotel room.
A lot of the hotels offer many fun activities, most for a minimal price.
This is on top of bringing your tavel documents (passport, ID, tickets).
I live in Tunisia (in Monastir) and if you tell me where you are going I can suggest some better things to take or to do in that area.
Good luck and have a nice trip!

It will be first time in october ill be flying to tunisia. Im taking lots of suncream, insect spray and bare essentials like toothbrush, paste, deodrant, brush etc. Check on traveladvisor.com for reviews of your hotel, and any websites of what sort of facilities and amenities they offer within the hotel. Just to let you know that the currency there is enclosed. So take traveller cheques.

BABY WIPES!!!! they come in very handy on the plane, for any journeys you take and when you get really hot/can't get to a shower.
A sarong. it doubles up as a picnic blanket, a towel, a skirt, a shawl, anything!
