2.89 here.
Gas is high cause every single day more and more people demand to have it in their cars all over the world.
But the amount we suck out of the ground remains the same. This causes a demand on the product in turn driving the price up. As this gets worse the price will only go up and up and as it does it will make people stop buying as much, in turn allowing the price to flatten out at some point.
Most guestimate that USA will average out around $4.45 a gallon when it flattens out in a few yrs. Sounds like a lot but the UK is well over $6.50 today!!

I live in Vegas and I filled up yesterday and the cheapest gas was $2.99 a gallon for regular. Supreme was at $3.19

So try mine here in Southern California. $3.29 to $3.49. I know why they are high. we have a Texas Oilman for President. He thinks that you and I are addicted to oil and should pay as much as druggies do for a fix.
