Code of friendship is you never date your best friends ex, so if her best friend is wanting to date you, then she isnt your ex's best friend.
Answer to your question, is no do you really want to ruin their friendship?? is it just revenge? dating her bf will not turn into a good thing, steer clear of her whole social circle it will keep her and you apart and sane

Are you doing it for revenge or for actual dating purposes. If you want to date, than it may not be a good idea. Too many times have i seen relationships end extremely fast when best friends are invovled. In your case, my prediction is that if your ex broke up with you because of something you did, she dramatized it to her best friend (cuz girls tell each other everything). If you go out with the best friend, she'll either completely reject you, or decide to dump you soon in the relationship because girls tend to be more loyal to their friends, rather than to their relationship.
