Not the ones where you post anything, but the kind where you think of a number, find it's associated symbol, and then click on the crystal ball or whatever they give you. I don't get how it guesses correctly every time! Example: MysticalBall.com

None of them read your mind, of course. A couple of answerers have given the solution for this particular one. There are others, of course, but each time the answer is valid for ANY choice you make. Therefore not mind reading.

On the ones where they show you cards then take away the one you chose, look carefully. They take ALL the cards away.

On the ones where you add and subtract numbers, all numbers work. Try a few.

The whole point of magic is that enough hand waving and hocus pocus hides what's really going on. The mysticallball site wouldn't be so interesting if it had numbers or letters instead of the "arcane" symbols it has. And you'd be more likely to notice that every ninth symbol--the one you always pick--was the same each time.

Hope this helps.

Its just a matter of mathematics. Any two digit number added up and then subtracted from the original number is going to be based on 9. (or 3)

Browse on each multiple of 9. The picture will be the same for each. 9, 18, 27, 36 and so on...and there you have it.

no matter which 2 digit number you pick, there are like 6 possible answers, so they put the same symbol next to each of those numbers. try it for you self, pick, lets say, 75, 12, 45, and 49. Figure the result and look and each will have the same symbol

it's just math.
Look at the symbol for 0. It is different each time, but then go up the list to where it repeats.

If you solve the formula for *any* given number, it will always hit one of those symbols.

from the ones i have seen a lot of them have to do with math. When it shows you the chart, look at all of the multiples for your number. There should be the same symbol for almost every multiple.
