You can give your baby tylenol in the following doses:
6-11 lbs - 1/2 dropper
12-17 lbs - 1 dropper
18-23 lbs - 1 1/2 dropper
24-35 lbs - 2 droppers
Tip: you shouldn't give your baby advil or ibprofen until after six months of age.

I have a 20 month old daughter, and when she was that age I was always told (by her pediatrician) to give 0.8 ml of Tylenol every 4-6 hours as needed. Usually they just need it after the immunization and throughout that same night. I would not give the child excessive amounts because then it doesn't do them any good because they are immune to the pain relief. Hope this helps, and next time don't be afraid to ask the doc. They know you are new at this!

age 0-3 months, weight- 6-11 lbs. 1/2 dropper (.4 ml.)
age 4-11 months, weight-12-17 lbs. 1 dropper (.8 ml.)
Go off his body weight-not his age.
This is a chart that I got from our ER at work. Im a paramedic and a mom of 4, so trust me......its correct.
this is tylenol dosage...(acetaminophen)

buy the infant tylenol and give the .4 amount make sure you NEVER confuse the infant tylenol and the childrens tylenol. the infant tylenol in concentrated so you don't have to give them as much- if you accidentally give your child the childrens dose of the infant tylenol you could overdose them

your doctor should have told you the dose because it is not on the box for an infant that small. I have a 6 month old and the dose for your 3 month old is to fill the dropper to the first line. good luck

It's based on weight. Read the back of the Infant Tylenol package. (It's a small package, and the Tyelnol is thicker than normal, and grape flavored.) Your pediatrician's office should have told you this. My guess would be 0.8 ml, but read the package.

This advise is straight off the Tylenol dosing sheet. 6-11lbs. 0.4ml or half a dropper if infant Tylenol drops. 12-17lbs. 0.8ml or one full dropper of infant drops. Hope this helps.

Please don't ask strangers an important question like that. This is your baby we are talking about. Call your babies doctor. Make sure you have infants tylenol not childrens. It also goes by babies weight. Get the facts and take good care of your baby. Good Luck

There are dosage amounts on the box or bottle or if in doubt ask the pharmacist for the appropriate dosage.
