Life moves way too fast and you have to move with it or you'll just get left behind.

It would be nice if everybody would slow down and enjoy life but they want that all mighty dollar or they are in .a hurry.Back in the early 1900 every body had time to say HI or stop to talk. There is just too much going on in peoples life .Take time to stop and smell the roses.

I think it has to do with climate. You see, people in the South have 1/3 more time to do everything.

We in the Northern Climates have to finish everything BEFORe it get too dang cold to do anything.

I noticed this when I lived in NY, they can build a 80 story building a just Spring, summer and fall. But in Miami they take 3 years to do the same amount of work.

But I ask you , do you really want to be doing metal work 80 stories up in the cold of winter? Heck no.

I think the problem that most people are having is that they do not have the time to do the things they want to do in a given day. So they rush. They walk fast/drive fast/talk fast all the things they can do to save time. If people just slowed down and lived in the moment they would be in a lot happier place then they were before.

i could go off really badly on this but i won't.

It just seems that people have a hard time trying to prioritize their lives. They are becoming more and more obsessed with having everything done for them, that they can't do anything themselves. People are at a breaking point really and probably just want out, but can't get out. Seriously if you think about it... say your dream job - if you do it for 30 yrs, and can't retire do you really want to still be there? it is a case of not getting anywhere in life - from my stand point anyway.

Why cant you people from the south hurry up? Idk..but some of you talk like you haven't passed 2nd grade. Cities are populated and people are stupid thats why we all have anger issues. Its a different way of life. Move here and guarranteed you would be just like me within a year.

Well let me correct you. I was raised in New Jersey and we say SLOW UP. Slow down implies hitting the brake and Slow up implies lifting your foot off the pedal. If one wants to lolligag around the city, get a bike. We have things to do, people to meet, etc. etc. etc.

We are in this fast-paced society and people keep trying to catch up. Stopping to smell the roses.. you get smacked by those in running by.. it is a race we'll never win.

good question. I wish they could do. everything is always on a rushed schedule. Probably because people feel like they have so much to do and so little time to get it done.
