Its just the pressure from your baby sitting exactly under your ribs and on our bladder. Don't worry I used to feel my baby hiccups, hear the water moving, feel her toes, even count them, knew when she was uncomfortable evven in the womb its just a mother's feeling. But 16 is very young for a pregnancy when you're not in school go to the library and get some books on what to expect cuz you got a lot to learn.

Not a doctor, but I am short and had a very big baby. It hurt all the time under my ribs. I also had reflux. You may even feel the baby push against your ribs in a few weeks. It just may be the lack of room in there.

I just turned 7 months today and the reason is that you are running out of room for the baby. But especially if you are a small frame woman. If you start to cough up blood please go and get checked. DONT WAIT!!!!

ask your dr....the baby may be stuck up around your ribs, but i don't know....
they can tell you moer than any of us can.
you could have a respiratory infection too....that has nothing to do with the pregnancy.
take care.
