friend told me he's close to a celtics position for next season is this true?

The Celtics are frantically trying to pair Iverson with Pierce. I'm not sure if it'll happen though. They would need a third team's involvment. But, apparently they've put all other moves on hold to focus on this one. Ainge is trying to get talented veterans.

Ai at point guard......Paul Pierce at SG....Gerald Green at SF.....Al Jefferson at PF.....Kendrick Perkins at Center....with a starting lineup like that, the celtics could give any team a run for their money...I hope they make the deal...cmon Danny Ainge make it happen

Yes thats actually a big rumor going around, though it not 100% complete they say dont expect him to be with the 76ers much longer...

i dont think the celtics would take him...
ai is kinda close to bein traded...esp when he falied to carry the 76ers into the playoffs
but he is known for bein a ballhog.....nd the celtics.....well....i dont think he fits intheir team
maybe he'd go to minnesota? iono...
