Global warming is due to CO2 emmisions into the atmosphere that serves as an insulator to absorp radiated heat from the earth's surface. The ozone (O3) is a whole different subject that has nothing to do with global warming, but why then do people still confuse the two?

the ozone protects us against deadly UV rays, that means damages ozone leads to increased amount of skin cancers. But depleted ozone do not lead to increased amount of heat-energy on the earth-surface, that is the cause of the so-called green-house effect, where radiated energy is being trapped by insulation effect of CO2

global warming and ozone depletion is related. read this....

Global Warming Can Increase Ozone Depletion
Scientist's are concerned that continued global warming will accelerate ozone destruction and increase stratospheric ozone depletion. Ozone depletion gets worse when the stratosphere (where the ozone layer is), becomes colder. Because global warming traps heat in the troposphere, less heat reaches the stratosphere which will make it colder. Greenhouse gases act like a blanket for the troposphere and make the stratosphere colder. In other words, global warming can make ozone depletion much worse right when it is supposed to begin its recovery during the next century.

Depletion of the ozone layer leads to more radiation reaching the surface of the earth, reflecting to the atmosphere and heating the atmosphere, which is global warming.
Great theory.

All in all, I believe it is related. If you deplete the ozone layer... in lamens terms.. you're going to have more problems with skin cancers, diseases, plants dying, the eco system beginning to die. The waters are so warm that the coral reef is beginning to diminish. Global Warming is already in progress. Hopefully we'll find a solution to fixing it,... like start by getting beater cars off the street, and have to have a 125 point inspection before someone gets tags for it. :)

Depletion of the ozone layer ends up in greater radiation achieving the exterior of the earth, reflecting to the ambience and heating the ambience, that's international warming. large theory.

The high traits of CO2 in the air is what is slowly eroding the O-zone layer. Our cars that help us to get to work, are

A. Emitting molecules into the air to which we can not breath,

and

B. Slowing eroding the O-zone layer which then leads to more skin cancer,

So the things that help us the most, are slowly killing as well.

Probably they get confused because they are both caused by an imbalance of chemical composition in the atmosphere - commonly known as "pollution".

why don't people just believe earth is just letting off some steam because she's pi$$ed. You'd get a little warm if people did to you whats being done to her.
