No, if it is inserted correctly you wont even be able to feel it or tell that you have one in. Just make sure you use the correct absorbesy (heavy, light, normal, etc.). And make sure you are totally relaxed when removing it, or it can be harder to get out.

No, it doesn't. Every female body is different. With me wearing tampons it makes me cramp more but as far as it hurting because it's uncomfortable NO i don't have that problem. Most of the time when a female hurt is because you don't have the tampon in there right. Meaning it may not be far enough. There are many reasons, but if it makes you feel very unconfortable i advise you to STOP using them.

it did for me for the longest time. i could go for about 30 minutes before i was doubled over in pain crying. it was horrible. i was 22 when i was finally able to use them. i had tried every size and absorbancy, but nothing worked. i finally just said screw it, i'll try ever period the first 2 days until i can do this (since the flow is a lot less so less cramping, less pain, less worry about leakage). took about 2 months. still have problems every now and then, but its better than feeling like i had a diaper on and worried about it leaking!!!
must say tho, i'm not very impressed by the leakage factor with a tampon. i can change it ever 2 hours (even on light days) and it will ALWAYS leak because of the damn string. (it just goes right down the string, i dont know why). so i'm still stuck wearing the panty liners, but i guess it could be worse

they only hurt if you put them in wrong, they are too big, or they are crooked. after you put the tampon in, feel your vagina and if you can feel the end of the tampon (not the string) than you dont have it in far enough and the tampon will feel uncomfortable you may want to wait a little while before you start to use larger ones start with lites

It is not suspose to hurt whenever you use a tampon..if that does happen..you are not using it the right way..whenever i use on..i dont feel it at all..that is the way it is susposed to be..maybe you are pushing it in too far..or maybe tampons are just not for you..you should try using a regular size tampon first..then fiqure out which one is best for you..

If you insert them properly, you actually don't feel them at all. Use the instructions given to you in the box. It shows exactly how to put on. Make sure you always have the string coming out of your vagina for the removal of the tampon.

no, its not supposed to hurt. Dont try pushing too hard either, because that may be painful. I suggest using tampax pearl. And if its not sliding right in(but ur period is still heavy) then you are inserting it at the wrong angle. Aim it at the small of your back. Once its in right you shouldnt feel it.

It took me a long time to get up the courage....i think that it does kinda hurt, but it takes some getting used to. The first time can be very painful, but i think it gets better.

When you use ones that are too big, or when they're crooked. It takes some practice to use tampons.
