I think men AND women should put both toilet seats (the Lid) down, so pets don't splash all over the toilet seat. Yuck. ever sit on a wet seat?

Why do women think they own this issue?
Actually, I put both the seat and the lid down. When you flush the spray can travel six feet or so. My toothbrush is within six feet of the toilet.

I think this is one of the dumbest issues ever. Every time I see it I think quit crying and go on with life. Is it really that hard to look at the toilet before you sit? It's the first thing I do when I go in, because the one time you sit on that freezing cold toilet, should be enough to make you look before you sit. It's your responsibility to make sure you are safe and comfortable in life don't pin it on others.

Mostly becuase it's not at the forefront of our minds when using the facilities. It's not a lack of consideration, just forgetfulness, but for every woman that has fallen in because of a forgetful guy I have to wonder why they didn't look first before they sat down, and it's probably the same reason why we forgot to put it down in the 1st place

Ditto with everyone else. Although, I am well trained and the seat goes down when I finish.

Poor poor girl. It's like asking them why they leave it up , and not hitting the hole when they pee sometimes. Men do things in the most strangest way ever. My clothes hamper is only few inches away from the bedroom door.
Instead of putting clothes there, he throws them on the floor. Not far from the kitchen sink, he leaves the dishes on the end table. Leaves his shoes in my way. Shaves and leaves hair on the bathroom sink.
I dunno why he does them, I ask him blue million times already.

I put it down if when I need to sit on it, otherwise I leave it up, because that is the way I use it most.

lol - i tried to make sure I was considerate for my wife by leaving it down. she would always ask me why i keep putting it down, its better in the up position so that it does not get splashed from the sink or the tub.
women - go figure.
