Cool or not, you have to show up for work in the condition to perform to keep your job. If you walked into your employer under the influence of drugs, (and you must remember that as a wrestler, you are not only resposible for your well being, but the well being of the opponent you are working with), would you be able to keep your job? Also, as other posters have stated, Hardy has a history of no-showing events. As a Jeff Hardy fan, how would you feel having purchased a ticket to a live event to specifically see Jeff Hardy, and then get there and find out that he has blown off the show?Well thats the disappointment he has continnually given his fans while he sorts out his personal demons, and that is why he is no longer employed by the WWE.

According to those close to him, he is now drug free. Vince and John Laurenitis (head of Talent) have openly said they would like him back on the rosta, would fit in great on the new ECW, they need another high flyer.
Big question is if Hardy really wants it, he has often said that he has lost his passion for the industry and that he wants to concentrate on his music and art. If this is the case then its best he doesnt come back, why ruin the fond memories that the fans have for him?

I completely agree with you. But I don't think he got fired, Jeff quit because Vince wasn't using him. So he went to TNA where they promised he would be a star. And for a while he was, but now he is just like he was on WWE. Jeff just needs to stand up for himself and prove that he could be a superstar.

jeff hardy was pants and should have been fired not only for being a junkie but for having a lack of charisma and being a ****. Seriously he was more useles then the eugine less charismatic the stephen richards and about as entertaining as hulk hogans movies (not rocky 3 as that is pretty decent)

Probably because of his drug habit and the fact that when he does show up to shows to wrestle he is late. If Jeff pulls his head out of his @ss and straightens up maybe he could come back, but Jeff wont change. He is in trouble in TNA because of the same thing that got him fired from WWE. Some people never learn

He doesn't tend to show up for work which is a big no no in the business. I don't think his heart is in it anymore which is a bit sad really.
