Im a bulls fan if everyone knew toronto was taking the italian why didnt the bulls pick the best player out there why didn't they take the future franchise player Adam Morrison? I thought the bulls learned about drafting potential (Curry, Chandler, now thomas) what a joke in 2 years we will be saying we shouldve taken morrison but we passed for an under achieving offensive child with injury problems. Sorry bulls wrong pick!!!!

I think the Bulls, after the past 2 seasons success, with said drafts are poised to make a decent run at the East title. I am surprised you are a "fan", yet don't realize their draft days have been considered the best in the past 4 years. I imagine you are a Cubs fan who thinks they suck because of Baker too...

Look at the Bull's current roster..filled up and down with athletic players at all the positions. We all know that Morrison can score, however, the knock against him is that he can't play defense. If you watched any Gonzaga games last year; it should have been pretty obvious that Morrison was never a factor on the defensive end of the floor..Morrison's defense can be compared to Shaq's free throw shooting. Another thing that hurts Morrison is his lack of athleticism, and the Bulls might also have been worried about his diabetes. The fact that Morrison would probably not fit in well with the Bull's uptempo style of play (due to his lack of athleticism) and their defensive philosphy is what probably led GM Paxson to trade for Thomas. Thomas is a freak athlete with trememdous upside and will most likely have more of an impact (for the Bulls) than Morrison. Worst that could happen is if Thomas turns into the next Stromile Swift (also out of LSU) and get the Bulls 9 pts 4 boards a game.

Thomas is what 19? He is gonna have 10-15 great years, win at least 2 defensive player of the year awards, be on the 1st team all NBA defense for most of his career. And think about how many sportscenter top plays he will be on. i think he also fits in the Bulls system better than morrison would.
