My son took dance lessons from the studio that is owned by the director of the professional Ballet company that puts on our Nutcracker Ballet every year. He decided when he saw the Nutcracker on TV that he wanted to be in it, and one year later he was. Before you try these two commercial dance studios, check out your local professional production dance company.
Also, go and observe classes at each of the studios. The teachers hired at strictly dance and dance unlimited are usually graduates of their studio, and not actually production dancers.
Decide what you want to accomplish.
