80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask what is the point of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.

I've come to two conclusions recently:

1. Life has no point
2. Life has a million points.

First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.

Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping others and other pleasurable 'feel good' kinds of things.

Just to survive life. Be kind to others and get over ourselves. Climbing the mountain of self is the first battle. Doing at least one good deed for another ( especially children and the elderly) everyday, even if you just say a prayer for someone or a stranger is the second step and talk to God and your guides and angels that surround you everyday! We're not here alone! We all get to heaven one way or another it just takes some of us a lot longer than others! At 24 you're suppose to wonder about the meaning of life and usually by 35 you are who you are going to be and it starts getting more clear. Don't get so caught up in the whole sin and hell thing. Just be a kind soul and you'll figure this all out. lighten up and have some fun while you're here!

I don't think there is any great point in life, just that we are here and should live and enjoy making a productive life, because we aren't here for very long, even if 100 years. Then how come we are here, by accident, or because God created life? I guess in a religious sense we are here to serve God, and utlimately be with Him. If there were no God, then maybe there is no point, and life is just a gamble as to what happens to us vs what we accomplish, as well as how long we're here before something causes death.

The point of life is to find your own personal mission in life and try to fulfill it. This mission is important and personal, and you will know when it comes. Some understand it early in their lives, others like me discover it later. For some, the mission may be curing a disease or building the best bridge. For others, it may be less earth-shattering, but it doesn't mean it's less important. Life is for love, and for joy, and for discovering.

I think it's partly to realise that there is a point to it, and if it ever start's to feel pointless, it's when thing's become repetitive, and we refuse to move on to a new exsperience, basicaly going round in pointless circle's that end up with the same conclusions, waist of life is pointless. To strive forward no matter what obstacles are put infront of us, to me the point of it all is to find complete unconditional happiness.

You go to Church, maybe studied the bible?

It's all about God and Satan! People, you and I are like ponds in a Chess Game. You know the story about JOB, he was the man which got jerked around. Human people, as we know now, are tested if we're GOD'S or Satan's property. The point, anytime when you can think for yourself!

answer that question and you'll be a millionaire...life is about growing and constantly evolving. Hopefully, by the time you die, you'll be enlightened in some way. Maybe living is the crappy part and it prepares us for the party after death.
