What are the important factors for buying clothes. The price, the color, the style? How do you browse? Do you browse by what's available for a certain price? Do you browse for a shirt of a certain color or pattern? One motivation behind this question is whether people will shop for clothes online differently if there was a tool that allowed them to search for clothes by visual similarity, i.e. find me clothes that look like this.

Ahh this is a very good question .I would say that price isn't everything it is more like the will that comes behind it that makes the close it's real worth.About color ,color that reflects mood and personality should be key to ones style ,like me for example I'm goth so i wear black but when I'm happy a switch it around to blue or white. style this one is tough but i would say style is another self reflection (pending on the situation ,don't want to go to a funeral looking like bozo)Browse,i us all go by what i hear or what can be trusted like e-bay or amazon it's because there known and are well trusted bye people(and honestly if you wanted to you can find the sandal of Jesus on e-bay so).

i look for cut...i'm 20, but all through my teenage yrs til now, i look for a lower rise because i'm a small girl and i dont like for my pants to come up to my neck..haha...then i look for quality...for example, jeans taken w/ the wrong camera can look aweful--like they're stonewashed or something or florescent blue....good quality things usually look soft and have modern shades....there's a difference in a rich color and a bright (to the point it looks tacky) color. I look at the prices, but the shipping makes or breaks the deal. If I'm going to pay a ton of money on shipping, I quickly change my mind. I also browse by my size...because there are sooo many sizes that it gets so boring going through things that i know only 10% of them will actually fit! i try to look at measurements, just to be on the safe side...unless im familiar w/ the designer.....so mainly i'd say, cut, quality and prices are all important. its hard to sort them sometimes...sometimes i sort for key words, like lace, silk...light wash, etc....things like that!

It depends. Personally, I care about price on certain things, but for clothes I like to find designer ones online.

I wish there was a site for clothes like the Zappos website for shoes. It's so easy to look for shoes there cause you chose the color, size, width, style and height of heel all at the same time and voila!.....all these shoes appear! It's not that easy when your looking for a specific item of clothing. I like the Macy's and Nordstrom's websites. Those aren't that bad but not as good as zappos!

The one that is a little funky and wierd, but not too much. I like the one that looks unique. I usually look at the price and style. I don't shop online much though. I usually make my own fashion.
