Who cares. It has absolutely no significance. France and Spain played a good match. The game was not lost or won on a referee controversy. What is the ref going to do? say, "Oh the French beat my side I am going to make sure they lose this time." if that is what you believe will happen there is always a reverse angle too. Then what if he says "France beat Spain. I need to make sure they go all the way through and win the championship that way I can say at least we lost to the World Champions" In short, I dont think it will have a direct affect on the game. The referee may not be good, and may have some bad calls, that could affect either party. I just dont think it will be related to the match up.

the referee became damaging he well known Italy merely approximately the completed sport aside from a couple of minutes right here and there and he ought to have given Spain a penalty shot and a unfastened kick from merely outdoors the splendid area of the goalie field and the worst section?: he became German!!!

It's kinda odd but keep in mind that the performance of referees is evaluated at the end of each game. If the referee is unfair, it could cost him his career.

Seems to me that the referee should not be from either confederation that is represented. What, they couldn't find a ref from Asia or North America?

Makes absolutely no difference, unless, cher Philippe, you are adopting the English habit of looking for excuses. A bit early, isn't it? Trop tot.
And, if so, may I recommend the heat, which will of course affect the French only?

Actually, when that kind of suspicion arises, refs tend to favor the other team. So, France might be gaining more than Brazil from this nomination...
