we probably will be able to adapt to the warming heat, but other animals need to live in a special climate. Global warming may lead them to extinction or they'll have to migrate halfway around the world. Even a minor change by one species causes a big change in the food chain. I think another problem with global warming is that when the polar ice caps melt, the sea level will raise a lot. This means flooding in lots of areas, destruction of farmland, and will send millions of people into poverty. The flooding will cause a shortage of food, causing starvation, most likely leading to the spread of disease. Millions of people in India alone will have to evacuate, and there wont be many places to go. We cant just turn the majority of the coastline into a huge New Orleans by building walls and levies, and after Katrina we all know how well they work. If we want any chance of stopping this then we need to act now, and hope that our leaders don't sit and ignore all the information we have. We don't need more proof, we just need to do something about it.

Global warming is a natural phenomana, but humans are changing the climate whether we like to admit it or not. It is accepted that earth cools down and warms up over time, and perhaps earth is just going through a natural heating. But we humans do contribute to global warming, how much I don't know.
All I do know for sure is, is that unless we find some answers to this problem a lot of people in the world don't have such a good future. In more ways than one

We will adapt to the constantly increasing heat, but it will take a long time. As for what's going to happen, have you seen the movie "The Day After Tomorrow"? In that, the ice caps are melting, and they mess up the North Atlantic Current. Then it goes into the Ice Age again, because everything gets too cold.

Does it really matter whether or not it is cyclical or man-made?
The point is...global warming is happening and one can only wonder how warm will it get and whether or not it will affect the crop, civilization, air, boat and land travel, our personal health and well-being, etc.
There were times on the planet when there was never any ice and the ice age did recede and/or melt in many parts of the globe.
The broader question is how did it affect the people and creatures who experienced global warming, in the past?
So, whether or not it is cyclical or man-made, at least we can all agree it is happening and we can only wonder how warm will it get and will civilization and nations change in any way due to the massive warming?
Questions, questions leading to other questions.
The only conclusion we can come to is...Yahoo Answers is a fun site!

Global Warming is fake. New research has proven that the globe has warmed in the past. Naturally, before people polluted it.
Sorry I can't find the article, It was a Discovery Channel show, go to the website.

As a Black man with a sufficient amount of melanin in your skin, you don't have to worry about that. Remember that you come from hot azz Africa. You will be fine but others will have to worry because its not just the warming, its the sun!
