It had a big tower that sat in the middle of the playing field. The goal was to go from Kindgom to Kingdom and find the keys and fight Brigands. You had to buy food to feed your warriors and you could haggle over prices at the bazaar. It was a great game. I still have this game and dusted it off not too long ago. Although we went through "D" batteries like crazy, we found it quite a fun and interactive game. I wonder if there are any new games similar to that one.

Wow! Dark Tower was one of the coolest board games of my youth. I played that thing for hours. I think there was a thief that would try and steal yor gold too.
