Am visiting Vegas next weekend and would like to view the city lights from afar...suggestions, please. Thanks!

My Advice to this ....JUST DRIVE down LAS VEGAS BLVD..at night and u will see a wonderful sites to see....U will find the BEST OF THE BEST...just taking your time...and taking pictures...HAVE fun

You dont have to drive (I wouldnt suggest it if you didnt have to drive at all!) just to see whats going on in Vegas at night. You can see much more on foot plus you'll save on gas! Hop in a cab and go down to the Stratosphere and you can see the strip from there. Be sure to check out the Freemont Street Experience while you are there too. There's ALOT to see in Vegas!
I was there about a month ago and it was alot of fun. Enjoy!!!

Sounds a bit silly, but about sunset or so, take I-15 west until you are in Jean NV...eat dinner, have fun, then when it is completely dark, turn around and head back...when you crest that hill to go down into the valley Vegas is in....it is a breathtaking sight to behold!

find Lake Mead and take it to Hollywood there is a park off of Hollywood that you can see all of Las Vegas and the mountains.

There's a Mormon Temple on Bonanza that ROCKS.
Otherwise, go to the Stratosphere tower. You can see EVERYTHING from there.
