The train system in the UK is very extensive and easy to use. I would recommend the train. A trip from London to Aberdeen is a good day of travel, but you will go through some fantastic towns on the way and see some nice scenary. You can buy a multi-day pass from the states before you go, or point to point while you are there. If you plan on being in the UK more than 3 days, and plan on travelling by train, I recommend getting the Britrail pass.

The tube is amazingly secure, the only concern you need to have is being pickpocketed. that may no longer comparable to being mugged as you do no longer even understand approximately it, so which you isn't traumatised via it, yet you nonetheless won't have any stuff!! determine you preserve your valuables hidden away, surprisingly in the experience that your travelling at a hectic time, you would be in crowds so no longer even experience somebody dipping you. i do no longer understand what variety of bag you have yet around the physique ones are reliable you could positioned on in below your coat, and characteristic your money and so on in and so be no threat of loosing the important stuff. many human beings make the blunders of putting it of their rucksack, that's worry-free to open for others. different than for that, the underground is amazingly secure. there are various underground "attendants" even whilst its quiet, and there are continually human beings employing the tube. (next week is a million/2 term so there will be a brilliant number of youngsters out and approximately with mum and dad, and that they us the tube basically aftet rush hour and so on). additionally at busy stations like Paddington, and King go (?) they do have police, yet this is basically extremely for instruct. Its no longer via fact its elementary for human beings to be injury, attacked or mugged on the tube. In that component to London, back that's amazingly busy, and there are various human beings strolling approximately, so that's fantastically unlikely you would be attacked basically strolling alongside the line. Many many travelers/travellers make the transition to Paddington, so which you will basically be between the team. It sounds stupid yet London is amazingly secure, you in a nicely populated "elementary" section, no longer a coarse one, and your no longer on my own or there on the ineffective of nighttime. mothers do worry, yet such as you have mentioned, many human beings make the adventure on a daily basis, and you'd be one among them.
