Maybe they're jealous of the influence we have around the world, and by things that we have done lately like the Iraq War which i believe is a reason why the majority of countries or at the European countries don't like us much.
The countries had great respect for us pre 9/11 i mean look at the Vigils they had for the victims, it's just the reckless war in Iraq that set many countries off.

I will put this simply. The people, not only the government, is arrogant. We say this is a great nation. We are free to choose. We have support.
Well, I don't think this is a great nation. I voted and the guy I wanted lost, so I never get what I want from the government who decides "what's best for me". And you practically have to be dying to get some help from your own government. Hell, I couldn't even get tuition assistance for college because my parents, whom I didn't live with or get support from, made too much money.
Is that something to be proud of? Not really. Anyone who has travelled across an ocean will know the differences of the systems. Our country's main concern is money and profit. Other countries focus on education and health. I prefer an education to my government allowing an already overly rich bastard to make more money off of me.
From a political view, the US has a knack for getting involved in what should have been none of thier business. Like country A and country B are having a private conversation and the US barges into it and adds his 2 cents on the 28 second of talk they overheard. If a country asks for help, that's one thing, but to give help where none is requested is another. It's pride. The US is not the only one to have it. Other countries don't like handouts.

Ask anyone anywhere in the world what would be the one thing they could have if the sky was the limit.
Would it be cars, homes, no debt, lots of money, real estate, gold????
Most people in the world would want to be free. Freedom from terrorists, from oppression, from dictators. Freedoms like we enjoy in the United States of America, the greatest nation on Earth.
Why do we have these freedoms? Because we are one of the countries that the rest of the world can count on to help them, in any situation, any time, any place. If not for the heroes fighting now for our freedom, and the countless numbers of Veterans who served before them, we may not be Americans today. We might not be free. We might not enjoy everything we have, including the right to choose our religion, where we want to live, work, go to school, etc.
So you think everyone is hating on the U.S.?
I bet the terrorists are!
I bet the dictators are!
I love my country and would die to protect my freedom and the freedom of my family.
Would you?

Not everyone is hating us. The current American administration is despised by the left wing media which is not limited to the United States media. The presentation fo the United States in foriegn countries is worse (if you can imagine that) then it is by our own press.
As the Canadian PM said after 9/11 we have done more to help the world then any other nation. And despite the hew and cry from those who have failed at capitalism (and thus want socialism), despite those who abhore Christianity, and even democray we will continue on. We will continue to be the worlds best hope for freedom, for peace, for capitalism, and for what is just plain right.

Because the USA does not know how to mind their own business!
America should take care of it's own internal problems before it sticks it's nose into another country's business.
America is far from perfect and it needs to stop trying to force it's brand of Government on anyone else!
By the way, many countries already existed long before the USA was here!

It's not the US. I love jazz, the blues, Davis, Dylan, Robert Johnson, DeNiro, Pacino, Hoffman.
There's substance, but there is a lot of **** an narcissism gets exported too.
Politically, your foreign policy strikes many of us as adolescent. peace justice and the american way, c'mon war is about rich people getting richer, poor people getting poorer in your own country and around the world.
And your patriotism from where we stand is often overkill. On and on and on about freedom and democracy and flag waving and bald headed eagles and stars and stripes, why do you shout so loudly about it, seems like a fetish to some other democracies. We've all got our totems, don't take them so damn seriously
America isn't "the best country in the world" objectively, it's subjective, most of us love where we come from. Why do people want to come to America? - Money is alot of it, look at immigration in to western europe, do you think everybody loves france, germany the uk or belgium? No, it's financial. People who bang on like this about their country and its values often have little experience of other countries and cultures.

to be completely honest, the reason most other countries hate us here in the great us of a is because we stick our nses in where they dont belong, we are trying to olice the world.. if our government would concentrate on fixing this country half as much as others, we wouldnt have so many problems

Many other countries are either jealous of us OR their own goverments spew negative propaganda against us.
When it comes to helping other countries, we are damned if we do, damned if we don't. Either they say we are not helping enough, or they don't really want our help because they think we are decadent, evil, or infidels. They don't know what real freedom is, and they are suspect of us. How do we fix it? That is a hard question.

American enjoyed for years the image of being great and good and fair and hardworking. And the world looked up to us.
That has all changed since Bush came into power. Now all look down on us and do not value our opinions for anything else except our ability to blow them to smithereens with our atomic bombs.
