Is this a Weird and kinda Creepy Answer??

If you posted your objective opinion on a computer message board or forums and didn't agree with the moderator of that forums how would you feel if you got a private message from the Moderator and it simply said?:

"Careful, you are in the (insert name here) forum now."

I find it both creepy and funny at the same time.

Sounds like he was trying to tell you to hush! Also - they may have thought you might "say" or use language you shouldn't.
