i would think that the x makes a z sound. i would pronounce it zose.

who would name their kid xose? Anyway...linguistically, the x is called a voiceless palatal fricative and it is pronounced like the ch in loch ness monster. Hope that helps.

If it's Mexican, it's pronounced "Esh-oh-say"
Xpuja is pronounced "Esh-pu-ha"
