I just heard that dumb blonde's (have nothing against blondes, just this one is dumb) new song and she sounds like Gwen???
what!!??? is it just me , or does she?
i hate people that are famous just cuz of papa and mama...

Paris Hilton and her producers were trying to latch onto the sound of a successful singer and Gwen Stefani fitted the bill. This review describes the sound as faux-reggae reminiscent of the Blondie 1980 hit "The Tide is High". Unlike Stefani or Harry, she hasn't learnt her trade by years of singing in clubs before becoming a star.

It seems that for the next few months we will be hearing Paris Hilton constantly. I liked Gwen Stefani's album - it had some great songs so if Paris Hilton's album sounds like that, she could have done a lot worse. Many people were fearing (or hoping) she has done.

For what its worth, Paris Hilton has described the Paris album to be released in early August as a mixture of "pop, reggae and hip-hop". It also features a cover version of Rod Stewart's "Do You Think I'm Sexy".

nicely perhaps, yet i've got listened to the countless different leaked tracks of Paris's. She sounded large in all of them, even though it appeared like different human beings making a music, that can in basic terms mean one element- her voice is fastened up. Ryan Seacrest on American good 40 did say that she sounded lots like Gwen Stefani, yet Paris mentioned she enjoyed Gwen, and thanked him for it. in all threat whilst they tweaked her voice around it ended up sounding like Gwen's. yet Gwen Stefani is extremely, extremely 10 circumstances greater proper than her.

1) Keep in mind when you are talking about pop music, that the so-called singer's voice gets over-dubbed and run through the computers until it sounds "perfect" to some over-paid, undereducated "audio engineer"....meaning in this case it sounds just like every *other* ditzy blonde pop singer on the market, only more so.

2) You know, there really are only so many ways to talk like, you know, like some ditzy blonde on this earth, like totally I'm sure....*lol*....this isn't like hip-hop, where you can sound like Weird Al Yankovic or DMX or LL Cool J and still rhyme, the total number of ways you can make vocal noises and make them "sound blonde" is likely very small and limited, at least in American-styled English.

Hence the influx of imported *dumb blondes* from Canada, where the vowels are screwy and nobody knows what the fuss is "ah-boat", if you catch my drift. ;) *lol*

Ultimately everyone has a quality to their voice that makes them sound like someone else. Even though Paris has a "gwenesque" quality she certainly isn't NEARLY as talented or as beautiful as Gwen. (Not to mention you'd never catch Gwen makin a sex video - how sleazey)

I don't understand paris or linsay or any of those "it" girls who do any part of the industry just because they can... i think they should be spending more of their valuable time helping others.. maybe other teens who don't have anything- maybe that's just me, but if i was that powerful and rich- i'd be spending my time and money more on campaigns and events that acutally MEAN something and effect other people more than myself and my bank account....
