I was totally rocked off my heels. I never expected it, but I guess being welcomed back the way he was messed with his head. What are everyone's thoughts on this one? What about the next time he plays the Sox? Think he will recover? Such a shame, but he is still a grade-A pitcher!

I live just outside Boston and I'm a huge Red Sox fan. Ever since Pedro left Boston, I have been "secretly" routing for him. I hoped for a Boston win, but with Pedro pitching well. And yes, he is a grade-A pitcher. As Peter Gammons has said many times before, "if he (Pedro) retired tommorow, he would be in the hall of fame with no doubt"

Not being a Red Sox fan...I was more disappointed than shocked, I was hoping the Mets would at least take 2 out of 3 from them bums...but I think the Mets will get hot again ( but not this weekend, sorry ) and the Red Sox will start on a big time losing steak very soon...I'll be shocked if the Red Sox win the division!!

I wasn't sad at all because I am a Red Sox fan. After all, he left Boston for the big bucks in New York, and although he was and is a great pitcher, I enjoyed seeing him mauled by the Red Sox!!

Go Sox!!

I did not matter who pitched against the red sox last nigt or for that matter the last 10 games because they are HOT.

Pedro is a good pitcher but a little to greedy, I'm glad he is gone to the beloved NY area.
