I love Superman, but the special effects were so unbelievable! Especially the intro! You get so lost in the characters that you realize they really did a great job of finding new replacements for the old stars. Some of the scenes where Superman does his hero saving stuff were breathtaking. The audience applauded at the end of the movie. The only real thing I thought that wasn't up to par with the original was that Lex Luthor really didn't have this original and brilliant evil plan. It could've use more MEAT in that department. But there was a suprise in this movie I didn't expect!!!! And I won't give it away!! But has to do with a Piano. it definitely makes room for more sequals!!!! I absolutely loved it, and I'm gonna see it again and again. :-) Enjoy!

i thought about seeing it, then decided not to since i can almost guarantee that i know the entire plot line. Lex Luthor is the bad guy (since he is the only bad guy that is worth mentioning against superman), he is destroying or planning to destroy something, superman comes to stop him, lex luthor takes out his secret stash of kryptonite (since this is the only thing that SM is vulnerable to) and superman is beaten. Suddenly, as with every other superman plot ever, superman realizes that he is in fact superman and can get past the kryptonite, with his last bit of strength he wins, then he makes out with lois lane. on top of this superman looks like superboy (he has been gone several years, he should be in his 40's!!) and is less muscular then the average teen bodybuilder. I'm sorry, but it just looks and sounds lousy to me.

if you want other peoples opinion go look at critics reviews or other peoples reviews. it has a more of a today aproach, more hi fi and better special effects which takes away from the true superman....anyway Marvle is way better then DC comics anyway

If you want a love story... yes...if u want an action flick, no.. special effects were great though... id give it 6 out of 10 but thats just my opinion... some people loved it.

Yes, I think the original one with Chis Reeve was good, now a classic.
But the new one is fantastic.

i heard from 2 friends who saw it at an IMAX (with 3-d scenes), that it was excellent. They are big into superhero type stuff, so I believe them

It comes out tomorrow!!!!!(friday) I hear it's gonna be awesome!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see it. The clips I've seen of it on tv look so cool! HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!!!!!
