Actually they guy did get shot in the face, but it was buckshot from a distance so it didn't kill his friend outright.
I think it was a legitimate hunting accident but I think Cheney needs to back down from some of these aggressive sports and instead go watch ballet, or practice flower arranging. Something calm and soothing should do the trick.

I assume you're referring to when Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot Harry Whittington?
Accidents happen and, by the rules of hunting, Whittington is the one who did something wrong. He left the group and returned without announcing his presence. Chaney did not know that Whittington was there, and that's why he got shot.
Hopefully, you'll do a little research before making your next snap judgment.

its was an accident although some like to think otherwise, ask the guy who got shot if you read the news release he wasn't supposed to be in the field at the time and the spotter didn't do his job by halting all fire......of course the truth isn't as funny as the lie but there you have it

All I can say is this: I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than go for a ride with Ted Kennedy! At least Cheney's buddy lived...Ted's girlfriend wasn't so lucky.

I think it's hilarious--not that the guy got shot, more because he actually apoligized to Chenny on national television! Insane.

Yeah, poor guy had heart attack...I would too if my friend tried to shoot me.

i realy don't care. hunting accidents happen all the time. the media just made it into a big deal.
