They will fade after a lot of years but in the mean time try an instant tanning lotion, like 'sunshimmer instant tan by Rimmel. It will help to blend them into yor skin.
I am sure they would help you at a beauty counter if you asked their advice. Also remember it is natural to have stretch marks, it is just part of you, loads of people have got them. You are you, you are not just a person with stretch marks so don't let it spoil things.
Have a great time at the wedding.

Here are a few options:
If you're not breastfeeding, you can try using tretinoin cream (commonly known by the trade name Retin-A). A few studies have shown that applying 0.1 percent tretinoin cream may help with stretch marks.
In one study, using this cream reduced the length of the stretch marks by 14 percent and the width by 8 percent. In another study, it decreased the length by 20 percent. However, there's no good information about how the medication is absorbed, whether it gets excreted in your breast milk, and what effect it might have on your baby, so it's not safe to use while nursing. And because the cream works best relatively soon after delivery, while the marks still have their darker pigmentation, it may be too late to try it after your baby is weaned.
Laser therapy is another option if you're looking to improve the appearance of stretch marks postpartum. According to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, a surgeon will use different types of lasers depending on the color of the stretch marks. One type reduces the color of dark stretch marks and another stimulates the production of pigment-making cells in already faded stretch marks. A newer type of laser therapy can be used to stimulate the production of collagen and help restore the skin's elasticity in depressed stretch marks.
It's unlikely that NHS will cover such "cosmetic" procedures. So if you decide to go that route you'll probably have to pay for the consultation and any treatments out of your own pocket.

I found that toning up the skin doesn't get rid of stretch marks but certainly makes a difference. Also with time they do become less obvious. For the time being there are lots of clothes out there that you can wear that reveal what you want to but at the same time hide what you want. For example, if you want to show your belly, you can get short tops with a mesh that goes over the belly or even netting or lace.

Strivectin is the best product that I have ever heard about, it even firms your face and decreases wrinkes. It was first made for pregnant women untill it was discovered that it can also be used as an anti ageing cream. visit http://www.strivectin.com it's quite expensive but you can get it cheaper on ebay. Good luck.

If you purchase the correct color basis then you should not must placed it all over the place, I placed it on my face to hide up a couple of moles I do not like, however I actually simply placed it at the moles and it blends high-quality, so spend money on the proper color basis!

See your doctor. It's a hard one. At least he will give you the truth and you won't have to shell out loads of money on stuff that does not work

For those who buy the correct color groundwork you then should not have got to put it all over, I put it on my face to quilt up just a few moles i don't like, but I actually just put it on the moles and it blends first-class, so invest in the proper color basis!
