What is the technique for remembering where you put something you've hidden for safekeeping?

write down where you put it and hide the piece of paper somewhere else. That way, when your looking for it, you'll double your chances of finding it.

LMAO. I have no technique but encounter this problem all the time! Usually, I just have to go through the house and rummage through my usual hidey-holes and hope I didn't create a new one!
