You have a laptop so changing the battery yourself might be a little much, on a standard desktop it is easier because the components are more spread out, easier to navigate and install a new battery. If you leave your laptop on your may not receive the error messages. I would suggest taking your laptop to your local BestBuy or Circuit City or local computer store and asking them to change the battery for you. It shouldn't be too expensive, but I've never had to have that changed so I'm not sure how much it will cost you.

According to previous post on this problem the solution is to check the Bios battery and clock crystal on the mother board. Well that's good to know but now I need a step by step procedure on how to proceed... Where can point and click my cursor to get the proper result that I needed. In the meantime, can I just leave my laptap on all the time so I do not have to go through the hassle of the error messages that i'm getting and hoping that will still reboot?! Please give me some advice as to what to do with this problem. As far as getting it fix (how much?) or just plain getting a new? Thank you in advance for your replies!!!

The battery is usually a small watch battery or close to that. It's just a matter of removing the case to get to the mobo, which is not always simple on a laptop. They choose to use those because of the length the battery can last and ease to change later.
I do have to note that I have seen a couple use a real-time clock (which has the crystal and battery in one I.C.) but that's not common. I don't like that approach because the whole IC needs to be changed and it only lasts 7-10 years. For a laptop though, that is an eternity.

Mu husband and that i have been married for more desirable than 25 years and the sparks are flying right here. i am going to admit that we've had some slow sessions, even as others may have puzzled what became occurring, when we did not continually look so chuffed in public, yet we made it by those cases. lengthy weekends away jointly and occasional date nights also help to keep issues going. do exactly not overlook that any lengthy time period courting, no matter if that is a married couple or purely desirable acquaintances, has its down cases.this is extremely standard! the desirable relationships can climate those down cases and are available back up with each of the pastime & love that became there on the start. continually keep in recommendations - you at the instantaneous are not purely getting old, you have become extra efficient - at each little thing, including loving one yet another.

Your BIOS/CMOS battery is physically inside your laptop and is usually somewhat difficult to get to if you don't know what you're doing. If you want it fixed then you need to take it in to any computer repair shop and heve them do it. Depending on where you take it the bill will be between $25 and $75, mostly in labor. If your computer is more than four years old, then you might consider upgrading to a new model right now ($500 - $1000). The choice is yours.
Just know that laptops are valuable, even ones that don't work. You could always sell the old one on eBay, even without the new battery.

If your laptop is dying, and you don't have a quick fix for this problem you are better off buying new.
