Its been said there are a large number of scientist that say global warming is a natural planetary occurance and yet others claim man is causing it. Someone was citing stats on this a few months back but I can't find them. Is it 70/30 or 50/50 or what percentage believe man causes global warming and what percentage doesn't? Can you provide a link?

If you know any scientists personally... they will pretty much tell you that it's a majority...not everyone, but there are all kind of crazy ideas in the outer realms of science that are minority beliefs...

but, just because a majority of the scientists think that it's true, doesn't mean that it is... it just means that all the current evidence points in one direction... that is one thing science proves over and over again...

Since 2001, not a single scientist has published anything disagreeing with the fact that the Earth is getting warmer.

However, there are still a very small minority of scientists who disagree with the community. Some of their views are catalogued here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_scientists_opposing_global_warming_consensus

One thing to keep in mind is who is funding their research. In some cases, it is believed that some of the scientists are funded by oil and coal companies, so their views can be skewed.

The best I can find is "a vast majority of scientists" and the words "small minority" come up. I assume no official survey of climatologists has been taken.

Based on the numbers and the few scientists I could find who disagree, I would think it's safe to assume 90 / 10 at this point (if not even higher).

I've always preferred my science to come from scientists not from celebrities and politicians.

Only 19% and they happen to be liberal atheists...so they can't be trusted since Satan has deceived their weak minds!
