Tom Bombadil
of all the folks the hobbits meet tom is the most wondrously unexplainable encounter and certainly they had the best time at his house.
Some say Tom had no real role to play in the war but I think they over look what he did for Merry. Merry starts out disliking magic forests like the old forest near buckland and his encounter with old man willow would have encouraged his dislike of magic trees
But then he was rescued by old Tom.
Tom's influence would be the only explanation for Merry's sort of liking Fangorn forest which led to Treebeard being friendly.
Ok enough with Tolkien trivia the real truth why I love Tom
Tom is such a Snazzy dresser.
Old Tom is a merry fellow; Bright blue his jacket is, and his boots are yellow

Samwise Gamgee - Savior of Middle Earth.
If Sam hadn't lugged Frodo's whining patoot up Mount Doom, the Dark Lord would have won. Shoot, throughout the trilogy, Sam's common sense, preparation, and steadfast, uncomplaining determination saves the day while all the "heroes" are farting around in the woods, playing with Elves and Ents and Uruks, and otherwise wasting a lot of time. Only Sam saves the day. And Sam takes the lead in the scouring of the Shire (pity they left that out of the movies). And Sam keeps the Red Book, and leads the Shire into the future, while Bilbo, Frodo, Gandalf and all the rest skate off to The Uttermost East.
Sam, definitely. The hero of the tale.

Mmm... I'd have to say Eowyn,
because she's a strong and independent woman and has the heart of a warrior, it's amazing how she went into battle like that. I was really sorry that she didn't get Aragorn, but I guess Faramir was pretty good anyways :D

Aragon- I really like him
Frodo- because even in the face of a ever present evil he was faitful to complete his mission.
Sam Wise- for being a faithful friend until the end. Someone who sticks closer than a brother.

Samwise Gamgee.
Look at the film and read the book carefully Sam is the best charactor in the story. He is prepared to lay down his life for his friend, even though he isn't anybody special.

Eowyn is my popular character, she is gloomy and powerful and is enormously lots the only lady character to circulate via an important exchange. She is likewise the only i will relate to via fact she has an incredible worry of dealing with existence no longer noted and Wormtongue prays on her fears. and that i had my very own Wormtongue for an prolonged time. So i will stumble on together with her tries to break unfastened. My least popular character is Saurman the White. He betrayed Gandalf and due to his very own thirst for ability fell pray to the dark Lord. in many techniques, i think of that makes him greater risky via fact his real nature wasn't obtrusive and others had placed their have faith in him. If i ought to fulfill absolutely everyone it may be Bilbo. I mean it began with him, did no longer it? He'd in all threat have a brilliant number of interesting issues to assert. And he'd supply reliable foodstuff on a similar time as we talked i'm particular! i could in all threat be a Hobbit. perhaps Rosie or an in any different case unnamed Hobbit. i like the assumption of the easy existence Hobbits lead. Tending a backyard, ingesting and gossiping in a pub, making a music and dancing, their love of foodstuff (surprisingly that!). Having no actual interest or theory for the broader international around them and the broader international having no actual interest in them. A quiet existence, an worry-free existence. and that i've got continually enjoyed to sounds of Hobbit Holes, being somewhat short myself! :-)

Sam - cried too darn much. I counted!
Frodo - great job but essentially boring and tortured.
Aragorn - did the job (hot in the movie - but he is such a tree-hugger - no offense to tree-huggers he is way beyond you all)
Legolas kicked butt and Orlando Bloom is hot ...however way too young for me.
Gandalf Rocks
Ents rock but they are too slow to act & too wishy-washy
Eowen - my favorite tough girl
Eomere (sp?) her brother or cousin - HOT!!! and let's face it all Viking-like hot and tough and sexy.
The naughty brother who looked good in the movie in a "dirty backstreet PA boy" way (long-hair & sweaty) not cool to be easily led by jewelry dude!
Golum - sweet & evil all at the same time - Tortured. You just want to chain him up in the yard.
Gimli - I LOVE him!!! Small man complex
Merry ...Pippin and the rest funny - tried the tough thing - it wasn't really working in the movie.
So, oh favorite....I love them all but Eowen is the one even though I am a girl.... she totally kicked butt and looked very lovely doing it. She had a fierce heart.

Aragon is strong, brave, and a great leader, my personal fave.
Legalos is a chump "ooh, let me stand back here and shoot my arrows while you go fighting one on one... ooh i'm so cool!" shut your mouth, wuss
Gimli, while strong, is a coward and very narrow-minded. "argh... i'll kick your ***!.. oh no, a shadow!"
Frodo can't get anything done himself; he always needs Sam's help, and is a serious chicken... but i feel bad for him.
As for the rest (Gollum, Boromir, Sam, Pippin, Meriadoc... etc), i don't have time to explain them. So yes, j'aime beaucoup Aragon!!! (french for i love Aragon a lot).
by the way, Legalos is pretty sexxxay, but that's just 'cos it's Orlando Bloom
