Why are some people on answers SO HATEFUL?

pumpkin,these poor souls are so lonely,bitter and without purpose,that the only way they think they can connect with others ,is thru sarcasm,vitriol and downright mean-ness.they are usually racist,bigoted and frankly,not worth your concern.they are to be pitied.take it easy and dont let the twits get you down.to paraphrase a famous piece of literature-"for all its sham,drudgery and broken dreams,its still a beautiful world-strive to be happy!"

They have missed the whole purpose of a site called Answers. People ask simple questions and want simple answers. As a former educator my kids used to always say "Oh ,That's Easy" . I always replied it is easy for you because you have learned that already. It is not easy for everyone. My point is, and I had a similar beef to an answer someone posted on my site. If you have good solid information and truly want to help, GREAT. If not, and you somehow take joy by belittling others or being condescending in their answers, than that is sad, really really sad. Those folks are here to get some sort of self gratification out of making others seem less important or educated than they are. The other sad thing is that some of these people are rude or condescending without realizing it.

What some atheists and others see on those pages incredibly commonly are questions about evolution, for sure requested from a youthful-Earth creationist point of view. It commonly contains assertions that are extremely fake or incorrect. Out of a dozen solutions there'll be some that say that evolution is a lie, and some that intently refute the assertions contained in the question aspect by aspect, each from time to time giving good references and short motives. this can take 10 to 0.5-hour to write down. some hours or an afternoon or 2 later you spot a similar asker with an similar question containing similar fake or incorrect assertions. It will change into sparkling that no remember what you write, the asker shouldn't settle for information or rational argument. would not the Bible say something about casting pearls earlier swine?

A) They're having a bad hair day.

B) They're having a bad hair LIFE.

C) The boss just ripped 'em a new one and they gotta let off steam before they go to his office and shoot him.

D) They're sociopaths, psychopaths and assorted looneytunes.

E) They're desparate to show off their complete lack of manners, courtesy and civilization.

F) They get a twisted thrill out of shocking the innocent, the ignorant or the equally in the dark.

G) They were abused as children and are trying to pass it on.

H) On their 8th birthday they asked God for a pony and all they got was Malibu Barbie and they've been on the prod about it ever since.

I) They're showing off their large collection of vulgar vocabulary and hoping you'll notice how well they use the naughty, nasty words. Of course, it WOULD help if they used "spell check" and understood the rudiments of grammar, but one can't have everything.

The answers are not just answers, they depict the nature of person, and where he/she is in life, what is he/she made of, what is he/she going through. So it is okay, this shall too pass for them, they will change, change is the only constant. Why are u feeling the way u r, by their hatefulness. If you ask this question to yourself, it will reveal a lot to u about ur self and u will go beyond. Love all, forgive all, and most important forgive and love ur self.

Hateful is a pretty hard term, but stupid would also fit. Some people have much to much time on thier hands and feel if thier life is miserable then everyone else should be as well..it's called a lack of maturity.

I wonder if they who wanna bite chaaa have had thier shots?

It's because some of the questions are hateful or so contriversial. Also probably because they have been "beat up" over the subject by someone else. This always puts people on edge when dealing with that subject again.

Because some questions are just plain dumb....and its everyone's right to be what they want...why judge them??...


I think it's ok as long as u urself dont write hateful stuff...and why do u care anyway...if this is one way that ppl can take out their frustrations...then let them...words from strangers cant hurt you...! there are probably enough complications in their life without you going and judging them....grow up gurl...welcome to the real wrld!!!

hmm, depends. I am far from hateful, but JWs seem to get all bent out of shape w/ me when I point out that they aren't Christians and shouldn't call themselves such. It really confuses people. For starters, they don't believe Jesus is God(hello?), JW's don't believe in the Holy Trinity (the basic tenet of Christianity), the don't believe in the existence of hell, they believe Jesus is a creation and so is the devil so they are really brothers, etc., etc.
So why do they call themselves Christians then?

Admit it. Some people on Answers are ASKING for it. There's only so much stupidity that can be allowed before someone has to come up and knock some sense into you.
