Wedding traditions:
Rice throwing insures fertility of the couple
Tossing the bouquet indicates the next woman to marry (she catches it, giving her the luck of a bride)
Removing the garter and then tossing it indicates the next man to marry (he catches it)
Tin-Can tying is just to make noise and stupid.............tho some say it started with shoes which were the sound of the feet of the children to come

SOME people think these are traditional activities at American weddings (they do not all take place in many other countries).
The INSIDERS know that this is the planned torture program when the Bush Administration is finally replaced.
Condoleeza Rice, tossed unceremoniously onto the curbside. Bouquets tossed on the figurative political grave of the Republican right. Garters with White House seals on them removed from Laura's baggage. And of course, tin cans tied to both Bush and Cheney so they announce their presence as the wander the world, much as Oedipus did, attempting to make amends for their overweening pride and disastrous behavior.
Geez, of course!

They are simply wedding traditions. Rice throwing has been replaced with bird seed,doves,balloons.etc. it is for good luck as well as the can tying. the bouquet toss is to symbolize the next woman to become married and the garter-removal is the same only for the next man to become married. They are all just for fun and don't really mean anything in reality.

Rice throwing is a traditional way to grant fertility to the couple.
The person who catches the bouquet is supposed to be the next in the group to get married. along with the garter removal.
The tin can tying is just to be a nuisance I think
All Superstitions my dear!

I extremely have seen this at alot of weddings I concentrated visitor that's greater of a puerto rican element and it may worry me now via fact i'm married and he should not be up there attempting to seize the garter yet via fact of this they ask each and all of the unmarried human beings to circulate up in basic terms for that reason i do no longer think of he ought to have long gone up in case you men experience some form of way. And confident i attended a marriage with a boyfriend and he caught the garter and that i did no longer seize the bouquet and that i replaced into cheering him on with the team and whilst it replaced into over he replaced into all purple interior the face and basically gave me a huge kiss. He got here to me and left with me huge deal
