lawsuit of any kind? What happened?

Yes i had to sue someone that sold me a house and forgot to tell me the problems it had before he sold it too me. he ended up buying the house back from me and i lost the money it cost to sue him and lost the money i put into the house.

Not really. A long while back a magazine company threatened to take me to court because I didn't pay the 3 dollars I owed for a magazine. It was one of those publisher's clearing house things and when I recieved the magazine, it wasn't what I thought it was, it was more like a pamplet. I tried to cancel but you know how hard it it to stop a magazine from coming. I responded to their threatening letter by saying they could take the 3 dollars out of the 10 million dollars they said I had won. Never heard from them again

Yes. I filed a lawsuit for being injured in a car accident. I received a settlement.

Electronics Boutique tried to sue me because one of the managers took a router home to test it before he decided to buy it and I did not report him.
When I found out about it I paid for the router out of my own pocket in an attempt to save his job because an employee who did not like him anonymously called loss prevention.
They saw this as an attempt to cover up a theft.
I was not fired but I was asked to resign.
Almost two years later they tried to extort me over the course of several months with a civil suit that increased several hundreds dollars each week because they had nothing to prosecute me with.
I told them that I had nothing to do with the theft and that if they would like to go to court I would be happy to bring the person who did the theft with me to testify that I was unaware of it when it happened.
They backed down when they realized I was not going to play with them and they dropped the suit.

I don't think they believed her story because she was a lil to nonchalant about losing the baby she supposedly was pregnant with
