What do you mean what should you do?? Its not like you just found out she was pregnant when she gave birth...you knew all along (or at least for some time)....make her take responsibility for what she has done....the worst thing you can do for her is to babysit all the time while she goes out and has a "childhood" lifestyle with her childless friends.....her childhood is over and she needs to realize that, it is no longer about her, it is about her baby! Make her take full responsibility for that child, changing, feeding, comforting, etc....of course you can help out once in awhile, but the brunt of the work needs to be put on her...it is her baby, and the only way she is going to become a good mother at such a young age is if you MAKE her!!
The best thing you can do for her is to make sure she gets up everyday for school and FINISHES highschool at least!! Maybe help her find a good childcare provider, since you will probably know what to look for more then she will....but make sure she finishes school!!

While I was in high school, four of my friends got pregnent.
Two had miscarriges. One graduated with me and one... didn't.
The baby is very important, but so is your cousin. She may be tempted to drop out of high school and devote everything to the child. This sounds good and noble... but it's the worst thing she could do.
My friend who dropped out is currently a stripper at the local club in town, just so she can make ends meet. She smokes. She drinks. Life is very hard for her, and hard on her. Her child's future is dependant on her, but she has nothing to rely on except her body. She has to sell herself in order to get what she needs for her child.
My friend who graduated also had a very, very difficult time. She went through high school with a child. She had to work out day care, and independant study so that she could do alot of her school work from home. It was very difficult and left her no time at all... her childhood ended the day she found out she was going to have a child of her own. But now she graduated, and she's going to college, where they are helping her and her child get what they need. She has a bright future, she's going to become a nurse, maybe a doctor... and she will be able to support her child growing up with a healthy, stable job. For her it was harder at first, but the life her child will grow into, and the role model he will have is a good one.
The other child... I fear for her. Because he will not have that role model. Her mother sells herself for money... it's not a good life to grow into.
The point of this story is simple: your cousin MUST finish high school, and go on to college. Her child's life will depend on her. and so her life must be stable and strong enough to support it.

She is too young to be a mother. She needs to put that baby up for adoption so a loving family can take care of him/her. You need to support your cousin, and help her graduate and go on to college.
Good luck!

How old are you. You could help her alittle but she needs to responsible for that baby. She did the deed no one else did. Now she has to learn to take care of it now. She is adult now she has baby to care for.
