You have four apples. The apples themselves looked like apples just because they "magically" turned into oranges doesnt change the fact that they are truly apples.

Appearances are quite often deceiving.

Well you have not said if only the form (forma) or appearnce has changed. Or is it the substance (substancia) or the essential part of it.

If only the form changed, then you still have 4 apples. If the substance changed, then all you have is oranges.
